Piano Lessons in Dacula, GA

with Dana Rice

Hi! My name is Dana Rice. Thanks for stopping by! I’m a music lover who specializes in helping children develop and grow their love for music through piano and singing. I am interested in making the arts accessible and fun for people of all ages but especially to children because they have the unique ability to explore artistic possibilities freely and without reservation – a gift that far too many of us adults have lost along the way.

I am a wife and mother of two growing musicians, and am blessed to be able to work with many wonderful children and their families in my Atlanta,GA – based music studio.

I have studied music for over 32 years and have a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Jackson State University and an MDiv. from The Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA with a concentration in Worship and Homiletics. I have been teaching piano and voice for 15 years.
I hope that teachers and parents will find lots of inspiration and some helpful ideas to keep ‘Kids On Keys’ making music and having fun.

One of my favorite things to do is write songs! Currently I am writing Signature Sounds (jingles) for small businesses. I’m running a special for my blog readers that enables you to get your very own Signature Sound for $20. If you are interested in having me write a jingle for your studio or other small business, complete the contact form below and be sure to include details about your business.

HI Dana… Upon reading a couple of your blogs I am impressed with what you’ve got going on… then I ended up on your “about” page and was excited to read your story! My husband is a worship leader, we both studied Bible & music in college… anyway, glad to see a kindred spirit on here. I’ll definitely be back to visit your blog!

Hi Dana, thank you for taking the time to read my post A Lesson in Appreciation and for your comment. I’m definitely finding that each day I learn a little more as a first time mom. I think it’s great that you work with children in their love for music!
